Hello everybodY! Thought Id start off the new year of the Dragon AMoM with none other than a Tiger! This is Dragons/Cyber Hobby Wittmann Tiger I early. I built this kit to represent his S04 Befehlswagen (command tank). I added the additional antennas and tube, and also plugged up the turret MG port. The decals were from the Tamiya kit. I studied the photos I had available of this tank, and it really looks like to me that there were no black stripes on the barrel. I could be wrong, but this is "my" interpretation of the tank. More photos can be found here http://panzercreations.fotopic.net/c1176370.html

Really nice job Tim, just the right amount of wear on the whitewash, I like how some of the white has pooled in the crevices and corners.

Really impressive again, Tim. Didn't you just finished with the other one? How long does it normally take you to pop these things out?

Please share with us your wash technique, it just looks superb!!!

By the way, I tried to bid on this on ebay but came out short once again. I realized your builds sell pretty well. Yours are normally the only kits I see sold for that much. Of course, I can see why

Excellent job once again and please share your wash technique.

Rob

Hey Rob .thanks a bunch! you wanna buy my kitty? :-) I have yet to do a white wash that I liked . Thats really one hard paint scheme to do and make it look "artistic". I have a tendency to want to do it the "realistc" way, but ,it always comes out looking sloppy. As most of the time it really did. This time what I did was paint the white over the 3 tone camo using a very fine setting on my airbrush. (extra thin Tamiya white) once I got the main solid white portions painted I then went back with MiGs ash white to take care if the worn areas. later, not liking how it looked,I went back again with diluted colors of the 3 tone. apply a dab of it and smear it around with some thinner. (the top of the turret is the best example of that.) hope that helps. maybe one day I'll get it right

Very nice work, I think that this tank is first Wittman`s Tiger (S04) who I see.
