A couple of questions all:
I have the Tamiya Chieftain Mark V that I received as a gift (went and got the Eduard PE set for it too) and ran across a really neat camouflage pattern that I’d like to put on it. The pattern, according to the site http://www.armouredacorn.com/Reference/ArmourColours/British.htm " TARGET="_blank"> http://www.armouredacorn.com/Reference/ArmourColours/British.htm was used in Berlin (I’m sure before the Wall came down).
Question 1: Would this model portray a proper version of a Chieftain stationed in Berlin?
Question 2: Is this camouflage pattern accurate for the Berlin time frame?
Question 3: Just what are the three colors portrayed in this pattern? What Testors or Tamiya color #’s are they?
Thanks all!
Mike

Perfect timing with those links chaps, I have an idea for a what-if, a Chally ala Berlin Brigade and was wondering where an all round group of pics existed.

Is a Chieftain the tank featured in that famous photo of a tank seen at the Checkpoint Charlie?
Or were the Brits only around Spandau?
