Hi,
In a departure from me, I am letting you know about a future Gen 2 American Mechanized Infantry set from Dragon. To be seen in a month or 2.

Hmmm, not quite what I expected... or rather, not quite what I hoped for, but I suppose let's not look a gift horse in the mouth - any new Allied figure set is a welcome addition. And Gen2 to boot
Thanks for the info lads.

Blurb from Dragon
I'm looking forward to this set. So Rudi what were you hoping for?
Quoted Text
Dragon’s newest Gen 2 figure set of WWII U.S. infantrymen is the perfect complement to any U.S. halftrack, whether it is an M2 or M3. The infantry figures portray a dismounted MG team as they carefully advance. They are wearing OD (M1941) field jackets and field trousers and come with standard equipment such as cartridge belts/pouches, canteens and first aid pouches. All equipment and weapons, as well as the beautifully posed figures, are expertly produced to Dragon’s Gen 2 standards. Another feature of this set is that by using alternative arms, three of these figures can be re-posed to produce quite different characters.

Ooh, seems promising, especially with that note "Another feature of this set is that by using alternative arms, three of these figures can be re-posed to produce quite different characters." I think I'll have to get two of these when they come out...
Now, I just wish for some Half-Track crews, and perhaps some seated infantry in highest Dragon quality...
