Working on the Trumpeter Challenger 2 Iraq version. Pretty much plan on a straight forward build. I have picked up a replacement barrel. Anything else real critical that I need to know. Not a perfectionist, and not looking at super 100% accuracy here. What is the best paint scheme. Mind you I only use Model Master enamels. Sand looks like a good color, but if anyone has a closer recommendation using another MM color. A good web sirte for post war British Armor would be appreciated as I also have a Chally 1 and a Chieftan in the stash

Steve,
Start with this site and search away.

There's plenty of references on the internet for the Challenger 1 and the Chieftain. Just do an internet image search. Also try Prime Portal and Tanxheaven.

Op Telic Sand is more yellow than MM Sand. I took MM Sand and added a bit of yellow to it to get the color or my Op Telic Warrior. Came out pretty close to the actual color.
Good luck and keep us posted.
