This was in a US Army article recently. Considering the number of Stryker kits to come out, this is fairly useful. Looks like the sand was almost whitewashed over the single NATO green color.
However in the same article, it shows green Strykers too so who knows.

No, the one you featured is also green. Check the upper front side panel, the only portion that hasn't been covered by the dust/mud/water of the local environment. Like you said, it would make an interesting variant of the base green.

hmm, interesting. I guess I didn't look close enough. Must have been the mud but it just looked so evenly spread. I wonder then why Strykers haven't had their color changed yet?
Anyone?

Strykers are designed to be our fast response medium weight force. They must be painted to deploy anywhere in the world, not just the desert, hence the green color.hmm, interesting. Nope, that's the typical Graf mud........If they travel down the main tank trail during the summer they'll look grey from all of the gravel that's been crushed to a fine dust over the years.
And they had to ruin my old unit by calling it a Company now|:(

Now we need to wait for the engineer version to come put. Or do a conversion.

If the ICV is the first version to come out then the ESV could be a conversion kit. The other kits that could be done with conversions off of the ICV could be the CV, the ATGM also, would have to do some chopping and adding.
