2007 has just started Commonwealth armor seems to be in this year new Shermans Humbers and Staghounds, why not a Churchill AVRE while were at it . I think we need new British armored corps figures in DYNAMIC poses please . What about you? If were lucky some sculptors might might even read this post and feel inspired

I agree. It would be nice. If you look at the big figure producers weather its plastic or resin. The Brit stuff is always the least amount of figures. Also the poses are usualy the same.

Gday Brian I'm far from a sculptor per se, but if you can give me some sort of idea of dynamic poses (like leaning over or running, but with a brew in their mug;) ) and relevant uniforms, I may be able to knock up a master for someone to copy in resin?

Brian, while you're essentially correct about a (perceived) shortage of British figures, there ae two areas you've overlooked.

Firstly, it usually isn't the sculptor who decides what new figures are getting released - it's the manufacturer.

Secondly, they are simply NOT going to sell as well as German. One well-known resin manufacturer (and sculptor) has frequently said that German outsells Allied at least 10 to 1. For many manufacturers, this is a financial gamble they simply can't take....
