I am looking for a place/site to find a good modern trailer ( M104 or M1102) For Humvees and similar vehicles. Can anyone point me in the right direction.

ADV/Azimut has released a resin M104 trailer kit (item AZI35066).

Azimut webstore

IIRC, another M104 has (had ?) been released by WSW/Terres Modele, or maybe KaroAs...

It's not a bad little Kit. I have one in the stash.....
The HMMWV has it's own trailer as of now (actually 3 of them)

I have a question on the Azimut M104 trailer if anyone knows the answer.. I am building a small diorama of Paul R Smith (MOH recipient) and the M113 he used to defeat some 50-100 iraqi's in the opening days of OIF. I had noticed from my referance pictures that the M113's from the engineer division of the 3rd ID pulled covered trailers behind them. This "appears" to be the correct trailer, but does anyone know for sure? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

AFAIK the trailers that are used by engineer units and usually towed by M113s are M105A2 1.5-ton trailers. The M104 is a 1.25-ton trailer. But apart from this, the 2 trailers look the same. The main visible difference I can see is the different landing gear. In fact I've planned to buy a M104 and turn it into a M105 but I still need more data (including M104 specs) to complete the pics I have already gathered....
While looking for info about these trailers I've came across this tread on Steelsoldiers website :
M104 vs M105
So such project looks at least possible...

Just to complete my previous post, here's a 5th Engineer Bat. M113A3 towing a M105 trailer (from Webshots). Just click on the picture to enlarge it :

The M105 trailer also has larger wheels/tires. It uses the same wheels/tires as on teh front of an M35A2 Duece-and-a-Half. The M104 trailer uses either 3/4 ton Dodge type wheels/tires or HMMWV wheels/tires.

The M104 trailer is also available from Italeri (reboxed by Bilek) in a kit along with a water trailer. I have converted one of the Italeri trailers to an M105 and it turned out pretty good.

I've got this kit too, but IIRC it is labelled as "M101 trailer" (=0.75-ton trailer) so I thought it was inadequate for a M105 project because I supposed the M105 cargo bed was larger....

The only thing you'll see behind a HUMVEE is the M101 or M1101/M1102. The M104/105 is too large to be towed behind the truck. Around the motorpool, maybe, but not on the road.

Thanks for the info guys. I checked out the links and pictures you provided and also did some more research and from what I can tell, there are differances between the 104 and 105, but they are not very visible. Mostly in the front landing wheel, and vehicle connections. From what I can see in pictures, you could pretty easily turn a 104 into a 105.
