Does anybody remember in the late 80's early 90's somebody had on the market ammo rounds they might have been made of lead they came in 1/35th scale everything from U.S. 75mm to 90mm and the also had German rounds from 75mm to 88mm they where the whole rounds
what was the name of the Company ? are they still around and can you still get them?
Thanks Lee

Sounds like Armor Research. They also made some simple photoetch sets.
IIRC they went out of business in the mid- to late 90s after the company's owner became ill and later passed away. You can still occasionally find sets at swap meets. They were pretty nice. I wonder what became of the molds?

Go check out Great Models Webstore. They still carry them. You can find them under Armor Accessories.
I bought as many modern 105 mm ammo tubes as I could when they were on sale a while back.

Yup, that's them. Either I got some bad info or someone else has picked up the line. The scratched-out address at the bottom of the packages indicates that perhaps Great Models bought up the remaining stock and/or has a new producer recycling the old packaging.
Here's a hot link to Great Models: http://www.greatmodels.com/
Be forwarned that what Armor Research marketed at U.S. 76mm tank ammo is really 3-inch ammo for an M10. The warheads are identical, but the casings were different.
