DML M1A1AIM gives you the choice of two styles of loaders hatches... which one to take? I'm trying to build the one with the antenna on the doghouse (maybe this helps?) Makes me think of the second question; which drivers hatch should go with that choice?
TIA

If you are building an M1A1AIMS you will want to use part N13. part M4 was the loaders hatch for the M1A1 HC. in the mid 90's the US ARMY's M1A1's underwent a Modified Work Order, (MWO) which put the lip on the hatches for better protection from rounds or shrapnel that may penetrate at the seam of the hatch. The drivers hatch was also modified on that same MWO.

Ric is on it... I want to say that the MWO was applied to the tanks in the 1996-1998 time period. I was in Korea when they did the Block G modifications and for us they rolled the new laser coated optics into the same work period to save time, money, and effort in 1998. There are probably on or two tanks running around without reinforced hatches.
