Can someone help me with what color the webbing, belt and boots are for DAK soldiers? If you have specific acrylic paint names from tamiya, model master or vallejo that would be very helpful. If you have actually painted some and have photos of those you painted (not from books) that would be helpful also. I am getting around to working on some very poor ones from Tamiya's panzer II model and want to get the colors down before maybe moving on to better DAK soldiers.
Thanks, GR8Voyager

- The web belt on the waist was LIGHT olive-green ( Olivgrun ). Officer's & NCO's usually wore black leather
- The web material Y-straps ( Shoulder harness ) were sand-yellow ( Sandgelb ).
- And the DAK ankleboots were ORANGY -sand-brown ( Sandbraun ) soft leather lower foot, with olive green webbed canvas upper foot with laces.
HOPE THIS HELPS

Thanks for the input, this was helpful. I keep looking at the figures (they came from the Tamiya PanzerII kit) and I keep thinking how they look so bad right out of the gate. Was going to lop their heads off to put better ones on, but then the rest of the bodies aren't that great either. I was happy with Tamiya's Panzer Grenadiers as my entry into the figure world but getting less and less motivated with these guys. At least I am going to be able to get my colors down on the accessories, clothing and faces. Anyone else build these that they have pictures of that might be able to give me motivation?
