Hey guys need help whith pheasant huts in my Cu-Chi dio. Would like reference pics. Is there any threads that yall can remember about construction and also does any one carry products that would be around a villiage. I plan on having it deserted so dont need any figs, just things like rice pots I guess thats what there called I thought about scratch building these things but need those reference pics if anyone can find any.

I think verlindan did a VC or vill folks that had some rice pots an other lil nick nacks.. might check with them and theres a few vill hooches I've seen around on E-bay over the years.. I snagged up the last of the Hooch kits a local shop had couple years back.. think the company went under though .. but if you've got any contests coming up in your area I'd go check an see what the vindors might have.. or keep searchin e-bay..

Hi, As previously mentioned Verlinden do pots & stuff for a Vietnamese village, VLS do a fire with hangers over it for a cooking pot. Arfix used to do a jungle outpost try(www.airfix.com). You can try a google search typing in Vietnam village and see what it comes up with. Hope this helps, all the best with your diorama, Kenny, :-)

Italerie/Testors came out with some kits tht you could use pieces of. First Aid station and Command post. (4-5 bucks ea) You can use the poles and then sculpt straw on this plastistruct or use some thin broom straw. Accesories go with Verlinden
