If you want some inspiration and idea on french wall, have a look at two french producers webstore who make nice walls in plaster for dio. You will see the different type of walls, depending on location:

Matt, try a website called CORBIS PRO .
They have quite a few color ohotos, as well as old WWII stock photos too. Really a sorely neglected font of reference pics (IMNSHO).
