Cool model Luc. The whitewash and weathering are excellent. Turned out really well.
How was the Alan kit to build .. is this OOB? Are the kit tracks vinyl indy or link/length? I never really looked at kits from Alan, but this one has made me think again!

Frank: I know that some serious accuracy issues are at play in the Alan kit. I recall one builder railing against ALAN because being a Russian company, you'd think they got the components of the Russian 76.2cm Pak correct --- alas, they didn't. It was the subject of two builds in MMIR a few years back.

I've seen pricey upgrades for the kit (K59 I believe). Regardless, Luc as done a nice job (I noticed a sink hole at the backside of your jack however).

Very nice work Luc, dimensional inaccuracies aside you've done a great job in creating the look of a vehicle thats been allowed to deteriorate through the harsh Russian winter.

Wow. man--OUTSTANDING! Honestly one of the nicest models in whitewash I've ever seen!
Like Ron L did one in whitewash too--I like your "dirtier" appearance more though, I may have to get out the pastels again!
I redid the rear section with wedding-veil lace and strip--yikes! Took like, three separate tries and a whole lot of patience!
I have to say that the base, figure, and whole presentation is just absolutely TOPS! BRAVO!!!

Hey thanks a lot guys, I guess leaving in canadian winters help to replicate a near close slushy road ! I have to say that this is my first attempt in about 20 years modeling for a winter white camo scheme. I really like the result. Karl, when I started this project I thought doing the mesh rear modification, but I decided to go per the instruction sheet. Well I'm satisfied with it.

Well, just laying those footprints after the snow is all set in place takes some guts

Pretty freakin' sweet build! I just pulled my Alan kit out of storage, you've inspired me! It may not be the most accurate kit in the world, but you've shown with an awesome paint job it can still look pretty king!
