Hi,
This project took me 2 months before I reached current stage, and i have just applied 1 fresh coat of dull cote. The next stage would be dry brushing and then some pigments to touch. Will post complete kit when its ready.
Any comments from you folks?
Thanks!
Cheers!
PS: Sorry for the lousy photos, poor lightings. Will retake all under better lighting conditions next round

Looks good from what I can see. The only comment is it looks too shiny, but that could be as you say that the dull coate was just applied.

Ps, is that the telephone box on the rear? If so it should be removed. I don't believe any ww2 pershings used the phone box, and Fireball was a ww2 tank.

Nice clean build so far, I guess you'll work on the persicopes and vision blocks later on ? The phone box really shouldn't be there but I like the rust effect on the tracks. How about adding some to the exhaust, too ?

Nice paintwork. Like the preshading.
Careful with the weathering though, it's too nice a paint job to hide it!

Nice work so far Dan!
If the kit is the one by Tamiya, I've got a question for you: did the build process went up smoothly? I had several fitting problems both with the upper and lower hull and the two turret halves joints. On top of that the "pistol port" once in place left a 1 mm hole on a side...
Ciao

Looks good. I like the preshading effect. I have yet to get mine to turn out right!

Hi Fabio,
Yup, its a Tamiya's kit. And you were right, the upper and lower hull, plus turret as well, some putty and scrapping (of the joints of turret) did the trick!
Thanks for the encouraging!
Cheers!

Hi Andreas,
Thanks for the reminder, I actually forgotten bout the scopes and vision blocks.. will get to work on them. Does the pictures really looks like rust? I actually meant them to be dirt/soil residue on the tracks.. But let's see how the overall look likes after the pigment is applied.
Thanks for the encouragement as well! Do comment again, when i did the touch up!
Cheers!

Hi Sean,
Yes, that's the telephone box and this is a big mistake from my part, i did not research on the variants of this tank before jumping into it. But thanks for pointing it out to me Lesson learned: RESEARCH!!! Man, I always skip over that bit...
Thanks again!
Cheers!
PS: Andreas, thanks for pointing out that bit on the phone box as well.

Hi Dave, Thomas and Stuart,
Thanks for the compliments, and encouragement, but as the rest point out, this build still got quite a bit way to go before its really finished!
But thanks again. Update you folks when I have done the touch up!

Thanks Dan!
All the articles I've read on the kit decribed it as one the most perfect kits saw to date, and nobody spent a word about the fitting problems...
