Hi Guys,
Has anyone picked up any news of a re-issue of the Italeri 15 cwt Chevrolet Truck?
Cheers

Is this one the gun tractor or the cargo truck?

I think is not the one towing the gun. The announcement can be seen on Kits Review's home page

Hi Fabio
Thanks, I picked it up in your original psot but wasn't sure if if was actually being re-released not having any Italian vocab.
Cheers

Looks like its the cargo truck. Sweet! I have been trying to get one of these for a while without paying the crazy E-bay prices.
Very welcome re-release.

Excellent! Been after one for ages. Not sure what I'm going to do with it but I want one

I'm in the same boat. I bought the Chevy gun tractor 19 years ago while stationed in Germany. Never got around to building it though. I did buy Eduard PE for it, that puts me one step closer to building it!

I had to check my Excel list of the stash to double check but I do have this one already. Now if they would re-release their Bedford truck.....

You want a Bedford truck? I think I have three. You're welcome to one, but email me in about a month as I'm moving tomorrow and it's totally unlikely that I'll be unpacked before the end of February, if even then.

IIRC, those British cargo trucks were nice models weren't they? I do not think I've seen one in person in about 20 years. Besides the gun tractor I own.

I built one a couple years ago for an Armorama campaign. It's a nice little kit that has held up well over the years. I kinda botched the finish on mine, so it will never be entered in any contest, but it looks OK on the shelf.
BTW, I had no idea these were any kind of rare kit. I don't think I paid more than $5 for either of the kits I have (one now built, one still in box). They turn up regularly at kit swaps and in vendor rooms at model shows. I also have the Bedford portee, but have been looking for a good lorry conversion kit or plans for scratching it.

Hi Bob,
Plus Model do some nice conversions for the Bedford and Resicast do a cab and 6 wheels. AA do two types of cab, I think CMK might do some stuff but I can't remember.
Look forward to seeing yours. Now if Italeri would bring out a QLB to tow their 40mm Bofors :-) :-) :-) and maybe a QLD GS that would be excellent.
Cheers
