I just bought this bad-boy on eBay. still hasn't come in the mail yet. anything I should know? any really good detail sets for a good price? I am of course going to paint it to look all Pretty!

You should really ask thes kind of questions before you buy, you could save yourself a lot of money that way...
But in this case, you have not bought a dud, as my Tiger I has been performing exemplary. It has been thorougly abused during the summer, when I used to take it to the park with my daughter, where the Tiger would make light work of grass, slopes, undergrowth, rose bushes, well, all but Sherman tanks ... :-)
It suffered minimal damage, all fittings which will be replaced at any rate when I rebuild the thing and give it a proper paint job. The plastic tracks do wear out after a while, but replacements can be had from ebay.
