Now that Trumpeter has announced a BTR-80 in Braille Scale, do you think Trumpeter will release other modern Russian Armor? And will Dragon follow suit?

Hi guys,
I agree that russian armor is underrated. Still I wish that new moulds would come, as a lot of the older kits are absolute dogs. Allthough I find some of the Skif kits arenīt as bad as their reputation and there is a lot of AM goodies avaliable.
I look forward to the Trumpeter BMP-3 - both versions, and off course the T-64.
A new T-80 or T-90 would be great as they have that distinct "russian armor look" which looks great - even painted in solid russian green.
Best regards
Morten

Yup, like Rob said, the "new" RoG BTR-70 is the DML BTR-70 via Zvezda. Oh well.
As for Trumpeter, I want to see the MAZ tank Transporter see the light of day first...and it to be a good kit. The SA-6 was ok, but there were some stupid problems with the kit that Trumpeter's A-team would not have messed up on. I would like to see the "Red-team" come out with a good product in the MAZ, then do the BMP-3 and T-62...really make good model for us modellers to work off of. Once they have established that they will make kits that do not correct some mistakes only to make others, THEN I will hound them for a PROPER BMP-2, BTR-80, and T-80.
Now, how to finance getting a Panzershop 2S7 Pion and P40 longtrack...?
