Does anyone have images of Firefly Ic Hybrid Hull called "Zemsta II" ("Revenge II") which was used by Polish Army in Italy or other hybrid hull Firefly?
I searched the web and all my books and all I've found was only a profile drawing.
Thanks for looking

Hello Marcin
A quick flick through ML produced the following suggestions
Allied tanks in Italy - Presumably the old OOP Tanks illustrated # 20. This must be where I remember seeing Zemsta, but the book is a long way from me at the moment.
Od Acromy do Zwycięzcy - part 4 - haven't seen this book.
If you do find photos look very closely at the commander's cupola as almost all the other Fireflies in the same unit had a British All Round Vision Cupolas (like the Cromwell and Churchill) fiited. I got caught out by this when modelling Rycerz 1

Maybe you can ask this model's builder. His nice model is on display here:

Hi Marcin,
try the Sikorski Museum Lonfon if you haven't visited already, lots of useful pictures there.

Mark Hayward's book on the Firefly has a picture of Zemsta II on parade, and check Air Connection for the Hussar decal sheets of Polish Shermans. One of them has markings for that tank. IIRC Zemsta II has a standard late split-hatch cupola with the counterbalanced hatch lids. Tiger Model Designs makes a fabulous hatch set for this. Make sure of the turret configuration before taking the plunge, but I can recommend CMD and Formations for gorgeous resin turrets and Tank Workshop isn't bad either. And use a metal barrel from CMD, too. I'm currently working on my fifth Firefly (two Vc, one Ic, one Ic Hybrid finished; one Vc and one Hybrid in WIP) and have the Tasca kit coming.

Some more details for anyone interested: Hussar Productions does three excellent decal sheets for Polish Shermans, and Zemsta II is on Polish Shermans 3, stock #HSR 35025 from Air Connection at airconnection.on.ca. for $8.99USD. I've had good service from them and used the decals on a Polish Sherman IIA built from the new Dragon M4A1 (76). Much better decals than the kit markings in the Dragon Hybrid hull Firefly IMO. No connection (sorry for the pun) with the business; just a satisfied customer.
