Here is a diorama i made (with one hand. the other is broken).
Any way its a 1:48 Tamiya Early Tiger 1.
The ground cover is scenic express flock&turf and the tree is scratch built of copper wire.

Excellemt work. Tree's are very good, especially as they are home made. I like the weathering of the Tiger and the groundwork is very realistic.

Hi David,
I think you did a great job on the Tiger and the surrounding trees. Certainly cant find too much fault with the weathering you did on the Tiger as well.
I do find the dio a little plain however. Most dios tell some kind of a story so the only suggestion i would make is to perhaps add some figures to it. They could either be riding the tank or patrolling behind it.

I especiially like the small diorama on which it is placed. Snow scenes are the best...Good job., thanks for sharing.

Actually im no good at painting figures but if you could point out some 1:48 scale germans that could ride the tiger i would be more than happy because it sounds like a wicked idea man.

Lookin good!
As mentioned an excellent job on an awesome Tiger, the weathering (particuarly the rust) looks very good. As for the 'diorama' thing just call it a vingette and you're sorted! lol. My only suggestion is that the snow on the hot exasust cover would have melted off and there is no snow cover on the sides of the base which just looks a bit wierd. I understand they are the sides, but as they have grass covering then I feel they should have snow on them too.
Also the tree looks ace.
