Ok...I had to errr.... augment the Private mail indicator. It now features a little blinking red stamp to call it out more. Also when their are no unread messages it's now still there, just really shaded so that it's almost not visable.
And just because I thought it would be cool to get working....If your sound is on and you access the homepage when you have unread messages, you will be greeted by Homer Simpson via a wav file. And you thought it couldn't get more like AOL right?
Hehe....

Like everyone else, I thought I had mail!!
I like the ease of access to mail you've given.
I'm still waiting on Homer! And of course, to see if it will work on my Mac...

Ahhhhhh...eeeeeeeeek! Please not like AOL!
it's a cool new feature Jim! I noticed it and just placed my mouse pointer over it to see what if anything would be displayed - "You have no unread private messages". Sweet.

Mario - Are you on a Mac too? The HTML tags (I used two) are suppose to work for IE and Netscape. What browser and version number are you using?
Andy - Mac woes. Probably not much I will be able to do on that front.

Mario - You should upgrade to at least IE 5.0 (5.5 if you can find it). IE6.0 is still a little buggy. Well actually it just has some features I don't like. One is that when it encounters some kind of error it wants to automatically close and asks to send an error report to MS.

OK. I clicked it. Nothing happened. I thought I was a bit early for April Fool day, but now I found this thread...
Nice job, Jim. All we need now is a bugle call when a mail comes in !
