Has anyone heard any news on the supposed release of this kit? The Styker talk has been the most coming from them lately. Perth has it listed for release in February but haven't heard much on it.

Well the M5A1 is highly anticipated as well. THere are several members who reside in the Far East, here and on the other main AFV DGs (Missing Lynx and Track-link) who are quick to say "I saw it today at the local hobby shop"
Nothing as of yet. Although the M5A1 is coming from AFV Club, if you ever want a good source for early Trumpeter kits, check the Philippines IPMS website. They seem to get test shots of certain items of Trumpeter.
