I have seen a SS camo tunic pattern that is based on a light grey background with the little pea sized color dots applied to it. What are the colors and does someone have a sample of the pattern. I am going to guess that I can use the usual SS "Flecktarn" camo pattern with the other colors.

Jim, here's a really good place to start:
http://www.coloradominiatures.com/index.asp?PageAction=Custom&ID=5
Now, as you can see, the colors are matched for Vallejo Acrylics.
I've also moved your thread to the Figures forum as you stand a better chance of getting a 'specialist' to answer than here in Armor..

Some WWII SS camo have different color combination up to 6 kinds for same pattern, So I think for the best result you should find a book.

Jim -
The Dot Tarnmuster was never produced with a grey background. It was produced from early 44 to the end of the war and was intended to replace all other forms of SS camo. The five color combination was only made one way, not numerous variations like previous SS camo.
Printed with roller machines the original colors were produced using indanthrene and anthrasol dyes, normally on HBT material.

As a reference I'd suggest Michael Beaver's "Camouflage Uniforms of the Waffen-SS". Great book, covers all forms of SS camo including a section on Armored Personnel Clothing (Panzerbekleidung).
The February 2007 cover of Model Military International (and the included story) has a great example in Phil Stutcinskas "Konrad III". The SS mann standing in the center of the group of tank riders (with hand in pocket) is wearing Dot pattern camo.
