Lovely pictures. Realy good finish but I have two questions if you don't mind.

1. How do you get the 'metallic' look. Graphite?

2. What colour do you use for the wood on the tools. It's very realistic and I cannot say the same for mine.

Ah nice to see a familiar kit. The painting of the boxes was done really well. In fact, the wood mounted on the front looks like its a piece of real wood?

I like the grimy look that the weathering mix you've used gives. Looks like a tank that's seen a lot of heavy weather lately.

Hi Tony the worn metal look is from light drybrushing of reaper "shadowed steel" using a very dry brush it gives a real nice polished look and a combination of yellow ochre, burnt sienna and van dyke brown oil paints were used for the tool handles, i first put down the yellow ochre then streak the other two colours through without blending them too bad it usually takes me a couple of runs to get it right.
Jazza yea that was a real piece of wood i washed it in the oils to blend it in with the vehicle the rear boxes were done like the handles.
