Hi all. I have the Military Briefs on the Australian Cents in Vietnam. The book states that Tamiya XF-62 is a match for 1967 and on olive drab. This color looks very dark brown to me. The color photos in the book look more like a Khaki color. Is this a good match or is there a better match for Australian olive drab? Also, on some site it was stated that Tamiya xf-62 and xf-67 mixed 50/50 was a good match for British deep bronze green. Is this true?
Thank you
Tom

Tom first of all welcome to Armorama
The general consensus of opinion with the IPMS tank guys is that the best match for Aussie OD is Gunze H303 Green.
Cheers

Another option is White Ensign's "Australian Olive Drab, Lustreless" that should fit the bill as well...

Tom,
The base colour I used for my Tamiya Centurian with legends detail set
and fruil tracks was a Humbrol 75 bronze olive.
The other colour to highlight over the top would be
Humbrol 155 olive drab lightened out with a bit of dark yellow 93.
I used washes ,oil paints and pigments to bring this colour up from the
Bronze olive
Cheers
