It's from the 1980's. I want to say 84, maybe 87. I can't check at the moment as it is sitting in a display case at a downtown hobby shop. I finished this and the Type 97 Chi-Ha recently. Also have the late model Type 97 on hand. Hopefully I can get to that soon. Thanks, "Q"

ps. Would probably help if I read your post correctly...duh. It went together fine. No major fit issues, no motorization holes either, which was a big plus. Tracks were even cooperative. Just the right amount of tension. Hardest things to do was the camo scheme, and that wasn't that difficult, just time consuming. ......
