Nice Job!
Subtle weathering does justice to what appears to be a very popular kit at the moment, interesting how dragon have simplified a kit but also made it somehow better!
The figure is painted extremely well, but there appears to be a gap along the seam where the arm meets the torso, just a pointer.
Out of interest (I know you have done it on purpose) why would a tank crew block up its machine gun port? Is this to make it waterproof for deep water wading?

It's the livery shown on the box of the kit... shouldn't it have sharp edges?
Anyway, excellent work!

Nice build. The only critisizism I have, and it might be due to photography, would be that there appears to be some excess shine to the paint. Greg.

Great looking build. Love the two tone camouflage. I know most stuff is painted in the three tone, but I do like yellow/green or yellow/ red combinations.
The thing that caught my eye was the track on the left side at the rear. It looks like the transition from the idler to the roadwheels is a bit kinked or flat. Minor point. Outstanding work. I'd go

I love to see more finished builds of the Smart panther!
To me it is a measure of success of the concept and the subject matter choice.

Two little suggestions and one question.

The mg port plug was attached to the upper edge of the glacis plate at a small tab and held in place with a thin chain.

The horizontal bar of the rear light, just below and to the right of the LHS stowage box was a deep blue or purple.


Maybe it is the photo, but in the rear on shot, the shadows for the hull side extensions look like there is a gap on either side of the rear plate.


Back to working on mine, hopefully for AMPS , with all 497 other late G's on the table then...

As for the blocked MG port, just call it lazyness :-) :-) I have no idea on how to attach them once the hull had mated.

Thank you kind sir! The Night Panther? Maybe when DML makes a new kit of this model, I'll dig it in :-) :-) Seriously. I'd like to stay away from the old moulds. Or maybe I'll grab another Panther (A,D,G) and attach the IR equipment found in DML's halftrack with IR equipment . In a few weeks time, I'll dig in with the D version in the Ardennes. Stay tuned

Hi Ralph. Nice clean build and excellent camo. Love the sand/green camo. I also like the slight sheen of the tank ... gives it a metallic look.
To nit-pick ... I would suggest adding to the weathering a little. Light pin-washes around details, and more consistent dirt on the lower hull and running gear would add a lot.
