ACADEMY announces 1/35th "Vietnam" M728 CEV
Posted: Sunday, March 02, 2003 - 05:09 PM UTC
As a side note to Sabot posting images from the M728 CEV TM, the February VLS catalog update has a 1/35th scale "Vietnam" CEV listed for release as kit # MB1396. There isn't a price listed yet. #:-)

I can't see it in the one they have posted.. but I bet that is February... I I really would like a plastic kit of that beast... It would work great in my Vietnam diorama!
I have build the AEF version and it was a killer...
Will keep my fingers crossed...

Since it was my original MOS, the CEV has a special place in my heart. But, I'll believe it when I see it. The M60A1 RISE/Passive w/ M9 Dozer and ERA (1390) was first billed as an M728 CEV.

I just hope that academy gets it right...does anyone know if the proper "reservoir" for the rear end of the M60 w/bulldozer was with the kit? I know the Verlinden kit has it, but my kit is buried in the deep dark recesses of my recently moved basement (well, the models moved anyhow.) I am hoping that Academy adds more than a turret.
