Just curious if Tamiya or any of the others have any plans on adding some modern stuff to the line up. Would love to see some Abrams, Challengers, and Bradley's added to the 1/48 line up. Thanks. "Q"

I know you mean the big guys making injection molded plastic kits and even Tamiya with diecast hulls. I'd like to see them as well.
There are a few resin makers that have some modern vehicles in their lines: http://propaganda.kompany.free.fr/bas%20148%20tracks01-07.htm

Maybe we should bombard Tamiya everyday with e-mails asking for modern 1/48 scale vehicles and figures!!!

I'd love to see Tamiya's modern stuff shrunk down to 1/48 scale. I know I'd buy plenty of HMMWVs, Abrams, etc.

Some of the "or any of the others" includes Trumpeter, AFV Club, and Dragon making an M1126 Stryker ICV.
Mother just provided a link to a build review of Trumpeters. AFV Club has test shots out, Dragon has just an announcement out.

Add me to the chorus for 1:48 modern stuff. I've found this scale to be a nice refresher between more complex builds and some modern equipment would fit in nicely.

Yeah, but doesn't do us any good unless they decide to delve into the 1/48 scale range. Some of the "or any of the others" includes Trumpeter, AFV Club, and Dragon making an M1126 Stryker ICV.

I got a few of these on the shelf, and even finsished the KV-I. Great little kit. Almost went together too easily. I would love to get hold of some Brads and Abrams in this scale to recreate my Scout platoon and sister Tank platoon. Keeping my fingers crossed. "Q"
