New pics fro my Tamiya 105mm build. All that has been added that is not fromthe kit are the tarps and sandbags which were made from epoxy putty. After the wash and some very slight drybrushing here and there I added the stowage. Two part epoxy putty sand bags and tarps. I placed plastic wrap down under the putty to prevent it from sticking, but allowing it to conform to the tanks contours etc. placed a little baby powder down before I pressed all of the gear into the putty. Once everything was in place, I let it set for a few minutes to get it formed into the putty well. I popped the pieces out and let everything cure in place for about 6-8 hours. Once everything was cured, I removed them and took everything to the paint booth. I still a bit more to do, namely the tracks and some mud/dirt/dust along the lower hull. More pics to follow. Thanks for looking. "Q"
Since I posted these, I have since just about wrapped this build up. I need to add my figures and some small scale chain to it, but it is pretty much done. I added the mud using some pastels and thinner, and applied it using a paint brush loaded with the mixture, and blown on/splattered on with my airbrush. I sealed everything with a good flat coat once they had dried. I gouged the tracks up using my Dremel and various bits. A light drybrushing brought them out a bit better. Dusted the bottom of the upper hull and called it quits. Thanks for looking. "Q"

I love that 105 Sherman! Nice work! Two suggestions though: the spare rubber track blocks stowed on the rear -- they seem to be OD. Maybe add some dusty grey to them to replicate the rubber? Also, the right tail light wasn't red -- it was a black lens. HTH, Roy

Got it. Oops, overlooked the spare tracks. Easy enough fix. Thanks for the heads up on the lights. "Q"

Looks good. I really like the weathering, especially around the "dings" in the metal.

Thanks. I have been trying to get some good pics of the figures I added, but the camera is not cooperating in the least. Either won't focus or won't allow me to get in close enough. Will have to deal with it some how. Pics to follow. Thanks again. "Q"

Hi Matthew,
Nice job on the 105. Kit looks good and I like the random arangement of the stowage.
Thanks for sharing, nice one.
Cheers

Looks really good Shooter. I like the discoloration on the Star. Bring the figs to the mtg Wed and I'm sure Decker can fix you up. Or I'll give it a go.
