I want to build the Sherman in this photo. I believe the blade itself must have come off of an existing bulldozer at the time of the field modification. Does anyone know of a company that does a resin kit of a full bulldozer that this blade would match? I would also be able to use any drawings of dozers from the early time of the war. This tank was used to fight ammo dump fires at Anzio.
Any help or suggestions will be appreciated!

There are a couple of resin kits of the Cat D-8 bulldozer out there, but do you really want to pay over a hundred bucks just for the blade? And there's no guarantee the donor vehicle was a D-8 anyway. I'd just start with the Academy dozer blade kit and adjust it to match the photos with the trusty razor saw and styrene stock. Even if I ruined it, I'm only out about six bucks.

I will probably end up scratch building the blade. I am hoping someone can help me figure out what the donor vehicle was so I can do some research on the blades construction. Are there any WWII bulldozer experts out there?

The blade is not a M1 to small or D8 blade wrong shape. Could be a D7
the sherman is a early m4a1 could be remarked British one. Or could be a British field job.
Wench looks like it is from a M3A1 or M2A1

The picture at the link site does look right. Now my quest is for drawings or plans for a D7 dozer blade.
Thanks for the new direction!
