$cott, don't be so defensive, buddy...they look great. I'm interested in the colors you used. The pants look a "drab", but I can't make out which? Boots look leather, or brown. What about the rest? I like the look. Please share the color info, it would be most appreciated...especially the wood on the M-1. Looks better than any I've ever done.

Thanks in advance.

Mike

I just used Olive Green for the jackets, Khaki for the pants, Flat brown for the rifle wood, I think i used Red brown for the boots also, these are all Tamiya paints... Ok hope that answers your questions...

Andrew, looking good man, they are pretty nice poses to for Tamiya figures.

Did you fully assemble before painting? If so, how did you find doing the detail in the hard to access places, under arms etc?
I think the colours look fine, are they acrylics or enamels?
The finish looks a little shiny, maybe it's the flash, or maybe you will be doing a matt laquer finish?

Well done though, let's see more when finished. :-)

Looking great!! Quite the poses - are you sure they are stock Tamiya??? No really, great stuff. But I would also like to call you attention to the apparent shinyness of the figures. I'm no expert but it seems a bit off. Minor detail though...

Keep up the excellent work (so I have something to set my goals to)

You really brought these old Tamiya guys to life. Very nice job. The painting is very nice.
The construction is good. I've built these guys before and had gap problems. I don't see any affects of that on your guys.

Are they headed for your diorama? If they are some thoughts on composition are "how would the cover each other?" "How would they react and position themselves in close proximity to the tank and 1/2 tracks?" I think you have the room in the diorama and the landscape and the skill to add them. I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Very nice - keep up the good work.

Man those look great, figures are the hardest things to make look real (IMHO) and you did a great job.

Very cool figures. We don't have much of a variety here where we live. Most of the things they sell are related to cars and trucks. The paint job, I can see, is very meticulous. I used to paint figurines, albeit not the same genre, but I'm looking forward to seeing the finished product.
