Aussie Army uniforms were made in Australia by various clothing manufacturers - however, they were similar in cut to Brit JG uniforms of the same period.
Shirts had a full button front (dark brown buttons), epaulettes, two patch pockets on the chest (pockets could be pleated or not).
Trousers had one large map pocket on the left leg.
Black GP 'calf boots' were normal footwear - they're not made of 'kangaroo leather' as some have tried to claim.
Later JG uniforms were of a different cut.
The later shirt ("pixie" shirt) had a full button front, epaulettes, two large chest pockets with slanted, single button flaps and 'cigarette' pockets on each sleeve.
Later pattern pants had two thigh pockets, closed with two buttons.

Osprey's 'Vietnam ANZACs' is a pretty good reference.

Tankies wore black berets. APC crews wore the standard US CVC helmet.

Items of US equipment and clothing were probably 'acquired' informally, but heir use was most likely not widespread.
I've seen a photo of Aussie APC crews on the side of the road and one troopie is wearing an M65 jacket.

Firestorm models' make some Aussie Vietnam figures and accessories suitable for a 1/35th scale tank or APC

The Aussie uniform that I was issued for Vietnam Service c. 1969/1970 was more of a olive drab colour rather than JG which quickly took on a washed out look.
