Can anyone help a newbie?
Does anyone know of a supplier for 1/35 scale 51st Highland Division (HD) decals?
Thanks

On a decal related note, I printed up some decals of my own and coated them in a supposedly waterproof covering. Needless to say it wasn't and so the colour ran when I soaked them. Does anyone know of a waterproof coating I can use. I was thinking future but wasn't sure if it is waterproof when dry? Does anyone know if this is the case?

Future is waterproof when dry. I actually use it on my floors as well as my models Ammonia will atack it but not just water. Think of how the future holds up when using it as a clear with decals....Only problem I could see is if it affects the inks while drying.

I have used Microscale's Liquid decal film with no problems.

What I have used in the past to clear coat my home made decals is a spray product I bought back when I did calligraphy. It is called Blair Calligracote.
I realize you my not have this particular product in the UK, but check in an Arts & Crafts store. It is used to protect waterbase inks, markers and watercolor painting from moisture.
I sprayed 5 or 6 light coats, letting dry thoroughly between.

It was microscale's decal solution I used and it didn't protect them. I may give future a go or there is a clearcoat spray in my local art shop that might work. I'll just keep on till i find something i suppose. Thanks for all the advice guys. I'll get there in the end.
