Hi guys, i havent been very active of late due to computer problems, it crashed and wiped my harddrive and last few weeks have been spent trying to recover all my lost programs and data but somethings like build pics and such what i could'nt retrieve from photobucket were lost forever thats what i get for being lazy and not backing up files.

Anyway while doing this i did manage a little build time and i've got to tell you its not real pretty but it did get me back at the bench.

This is the Mirage vickers E with a little bit of the scala T26 and another mirage kit i scavenged bits from simply because the kit is a bit rough and it took Three kits and some scratch bits to get it this far, the scrached parts were the lights, the intake grills and the straps and brackets for the fenders also a piece of pe grill for the rear intake, anyway as said its not much but it got me over my pc blues and gave me something to post.

Thanks for looking and as always feel free to comment.

Dear Ron

Great model - congrats!

One very minor niggle - it's too dirty. If you look at any photgraphs of pre-war Polish Army armour be they TKSs, 7TPs or the Vickers tanks they are all very clean. The Army of the Polish Republic was a professional army in the old school tradition and vehicles, like everything else were required to be kept spotless. Steven Zaloga made this point when he did the 7TP for Military Modelling way back whenever...

Don't get me wrong, you've still turned out a lovely tank.

Cheers

Karol

Nice job Ron!

It would be an idea to put a figgie next to this tank to show how small it actually was. Not much bigger than a car really.

Nice and dirty. I really like these old "between the Wars" tanks.

Thanks for the comments guys your words are appreciated.
Hi Karol, thanks for the comments while i admit it is a little banged up as i do tend to get carried away and like the banged up and dirty look, it might not have been the norm but its not totally out of the question that some of these tanks could have gotten to look a tad rough, look at the pic below they look dirty.
