Gents,
Aways been interested in the "what if" and extended war timeline concept. Recently decided to concentrate my own limited building time on creating a series for wargaming use in 20mm.
The first (semi-finished) model is a SPW based on the SdKfz234 series. I'm borrowing the LAV-family concept for my recce units and plan to include command, Mortar, Recovery and AA varients all on the 8 wheel chassis.
Finishing off a crewman before doing the final details. As this was the first concept build its a little rough in places, templates made will help future builds. The next SPW will have open hatches with a full crew.
cheers
Brent

The reversal of the front/rear ends is an intriguing approach, definitely a switch from the usual profile of the 234s, but works with the dual drive characteristics.

Looks very cool Brent. Very fun looking build. After all, that's what we should all be trying to do; have fun!

I like it! What kit did you start with and of course what scale is it?
