Would it be appropriate to put black camo bands on a Sherman Jumbo?
Thanks,

Well, as I recall from memory there were both Jumbos with either black or light green(!!) bands in NWE in 1945. I recall having read that and seen pictures of it in Squadron/signals "US armour camouflage and markings". I am not 100% sure I recall it correctly, so you will need to check. I cannot check myself as the book is in my Danish apartment while I am in Latvia.

Gday Brian
I also am not 100% certain, but I know that the Jumbo would not have had the First army black bands over OD from Operation Cobra in July '44, as the Jumbo was only introduced later on the push towards Germany(?)
But as for later camo schemes, I do not know...
cheers
