Interesting build, would be great to see what would have arrived on the battelfield if the war had continued (but lets be greatful it didn't!)

Intersting idea with the NATO paints and the WWII German scheme..
I wonder what it would look like with some dark yellow in there as well, sort of a bridge from green/yellow/brown to the NATO Green/blsck/brown.
What scale is this? 1/72?
My only buiid observation is that there are a couple of floating wheels, but nothing a textured base would not solve..

Very interesting looking vehicle Brent, is the troop carrying section scratchbuilt or from a conversion kit? The camouflage and the twin MG42 mount are stand out details for me.

Hi Gents,
A bit more info - was a bit rushed when I posted it.
Its 72nd, based on the very good Hasegawa kit. I used the 234/1 as the 20mm turret will get used on a Hetzer conversion. The SPW is basically a prototype build for my '46 wargaming recce force.
It was built with only a rough idea in mind and lots of trial and error so its a teeny bit rough in places as glued bits that didnt work were ripped back off! The wheel joints are pretty fragile and No3 on both sides broke off several times, hence the floaters. Will fix it and replace the centre axles with brass rod on the next ones.
The rear troop section is mostly plasticard, the roof is from an Airfix Matador. The IR gear is brass rod and a T34 wheel hub and the cupola and fans are from the spares box of broken kits ........
On the camo - probably the most difficult thing was to chose what to do. I wanted something busy to go with the recce function but it had to match the model. I toyed with some late war luftwaffe schemes and may still try this at some stage. Some of the vehicles in the troop will get a touch of gelb but still use the same overall scheme.
cheers

Interesting idea!
The only issue is that the figure is looking at the rear...
How will the 234/5 be?
