Easy build typical of Tamiya's mid 80s kits. And also typical is the adding of sprues after the Gulf War to make a "close" Desert Storm variant. Motorization holes need to be filled as well as a good set of photo etch to accurize the kit.

I'll second Sabot's comments. I have assembled one 90% and it has gone together great.

One of my personal favorite kits (second only to the Tamiya Leopard 2A5). It builds up very easily, has good detail (though PE will help). All in all, I found it to be a very enjoyable build with no headaches.

I have this kit....albeit not built yet......but it looks like a very nice kit....I also have the Mk.1 varient by Tamiya as well.....basically the same without the Desert storm sprues...as well have a PE set for either kit.....going to have one with, and one without.....been awhile since I worked with PE...and was never that great with it anyway....so undecided which I want to use it on!!!
