Selrach recently bought blendable oils, water mixable, mainly to use on the figurines. Its a first try with this type, usually have to blend oils with linseed oil and turpentine for cleaning up. Don't know that much about oils but was wondering if anyone has had any experience with the water mixable oils. Logic says the oil will be smoother than the acrylics and will look more like skin on the figurines.

Hello Mrs S !
I actually don't use acrylic oil's ..... I use solvent based arist oil's by Winsor & Newton.
My advise is to ask the attendant at your local art supply store if you can try some of the acrylic oil's. The store in New Haven, where I live, let's us try SMALL SAMPLE'S of oil, they stock for free, if we don't want to commit to buying a tube just yet. However not all store's use this kind of customer policy.
When it comes to PAINT, you can get many good & bad opinions about particular brands & their based medium. I find the best alternative is to try the ACRYLIC OIL'S yourself. What work's for you, might not work for others. ..... and " vice-versa ". My point is self experimentation & trial will provide you the best answer ......... " period."
I'm sorry I can't be of more help. I Wish you success.
