Hello guys!
I' m new to this forum so it is my first post. One of my last diorama projects was with the US Sherman M4A3 from Tamiya kit as topic.(miniatures comes from Royal model and Verliden productions) [1/35]
I would appreciate any comments or suggestions about my attempts to look more realistic about paint job or anything else you might want to say
Thanks in advance
Jim.

The dio looks great, from what I can see!
It's very difficult to see your work because the photos are so grainy. Try getting more light or adjusting the settings on your camera. Also some wider angle shots along with a few more close ups would work well to show off the dio.

No worries, I had this problem when I was first here!
To post a pic follow these steps:
- Click on the photo you want to post in your KitMaker photos gallery
- This will bring up a larger version of the pic, underneath which are boxes entitled photo details and additional info
- In the additional info box copy the UBBCode and paste it into your post
- You will notice the similarity between this and the image button on the post page:
ie. your image filename will be within the two
Here they are and below them I will post the text with the last ] removed so you can see what I mean!

In my proffesional wisdom I've obviously made a mistake myself!
Here they are:
Just copy in the UBBCode and you'll be fine!

The pics are still a bit blurry but you get a much better idea of the scene now.
Looks like you used the 75mm Sherman i'm building myself right now. It looks great and the scenery and groundwork also look excellent. The building is impressive (its so tall!) and it builds into a good dio.
You've obviously got some great modelling skills, just a shame you don't have the camera to show them off properly!

The dio looks really great. The building certainly adds height in a very impressive way.
I'm curious about a couple things? How did you manage to get the photos reversed in the first three shots? The images are mirror images of how they should be, for example the wheel on the right side of the jeep. Another thing is what is the white area on the front side of the Sherman? Is this a reflection of the light or what?

Thank you very much for your comments Rodger!
The mirror pictures was just a setting that my cam had, at those first pictures. Then i adjust it more properly. :-)
Anything you see glossy or white at the pics it is just games of the light.

Pics are dark. Everything looks good to me, except that the tracks on the Sherman are on backwards, which kind of jumps out at me. But the scene in general looks pretty good. Tough to see all the detail you no doubt put into it.

Gday Jim and welcome to the site
I like this scene a lot! It is very compact but yet has action enough. The figures look a good selection ( which are the Verlinden which are Royal? I like the pointing GI in the centre...)
Couple of things I've seen... the 44gallon drum the Sherman has driven over would be completely crushed in the centre, not halfway!
Also the figures off the tank could still be 'mopping up' and securing the area whilst still not clear of danger, whereas the tankers appear too relaxed, considering they would be a prime target for snipers?
The markings on your M4A3(75) are from an M4A3(105) if I recall correctly, but not a big issue except from an absolute accuracy viewpoint
The building looks great as well as the rubble, but the rear section behind the Sherman has a big section blown out which would require a huge mound of debris around that telephone pole, especially as there seems to have been some clearing for vehicles which would push up a huge pile against the wall...
Other than these nitpicks it is a good effort, and I look forward to seeing more Shermans!
Cheers
Brad

Thanks for your comments Brad.
About the figures the two infantry foot soldiers are coming as set from Verliden and the tank crew comes from Royal models.

You're welcome Jim...
I know the set of tankers now; they are shown as a Pershing crew right?
Have been tempted to buy them but they cost a small fortune here is Australia

Yes Brad. The tank crew is the M26 Pershing crew 4 figure set (No.339) that i' ve used. This company got very nice quality figures . Well sculpted figures to a dio is important to me as much as the main kit .
For some other modeller's figures are not important fact so they use plastic figures. So you have to ask yourself if it's an important fact for you.

Good to see some more pics up Jim, shame your camera still makes the images grainy! Excellent dio all the same, and thanks for the nice comments on my kits! be sure to look out for my thread on the same tank i'm building, hopefully have pics up tomorrow!
Brad, I didn't think the day would come when I could contradict you on Sherman knowledge but it has! :-) Those markings are indeed for a 75mm Sherman (providing Tamiya have got it right, which probably doesn't count for much!) as they are the alternate markings to Caballero in my 75mm kit!

Yep, me stand corrected... now realise I was thinking of '58' from the (105) kit... Clearly on the fly I be caught out

Looks good. It helped with some better pictures.
Impressive building and nice detail with the squashed fuel barrel.
Thanks for sharing
