I am just starting my build of the above kit and was wondering if anyone knows of a build blog? Already in test fitting the front drive (part C23) assembly with the drive shaft (partsC5 & C6) there does not seem to be a positive fit. Seems that the floor plate is slightly warped forward, but even if straightened there seems to be a fit problem. Looking forward to hearing from anyone who has or is building this kit.

i had the same problem and could never get it to actually fit proberly. once the hull was attached their is no way that part of the interior is visable even with all of the hatches open. i promised myself no more interior builds, hatches closed from now on.

Academy's interior components are definitely a pest, I had lots of fit fun with the M10 and then discovered that things were incorrectly placed (like the firewall).

Loads of dry fitting is the only real solution

Thanks Robert and David,

I have cut back the transmission housing and braced the parts while the clue sets.

Oh yeah, that baby is pretty much a mess. I'm in the middle of building it right now, and just about everything is a struggle - I've already had to get my clamps out to hold stuff in place.

The upper hull being in pieces just doesn't make sense to me, and there's no way to check the fit to the lower hull until it's too late.

The rear bulkhead doesn't fit correctly, and, most of all, the instructions SUCK. I'm putting this in a diorama and so need the interior since the hatches will be open, but, man, it shouldn't be this hard just to put the damn thing together.

I've ordered the return roller correction and the tranny cover from Formations. I just couldn't deal with the kit parts. Ughhh.
