Aside from the Tamiya set with Monty, Ike, and Patton are there any decent 1/35 figures of the above commanders for the Allies? The Tamiya ones are decent but a bit rough and it'd be nice to find something in resin.

Thanks,
Matt

Tim Streeter on www.usarmymodels.com lists resin figures of Patton by Custom Dioramics, Dynasty/Legend, Infinity Shape, and Legends and Lore. For example here is his review of the one by Custom Dioramics. http://www.usarmymodels.com/MANUFACTURERS/CustomDioramics/customdioramics4030.html

I seem to recall one of Monty from some other company, but can't find him now.

Monty, Ike, Patton, MacArthur and Rommel are in the Tamiya Famous Generals (#35118)kit. They've been around since 1982 or so but hold up pretty well. Great Models has them listed at $4.25 right now.

Hi Guys,
Tamiya did a special issue figure of Rommel a few years ago.
The figure was released again as part of a set that included the DAK Kubelwagen and Tamiya's ancient Tent and DAK Radio Operator set.
Figures of famous Generals are rare as hens teeth and it's obviously a part of the hobby that's sorely under provided for.
Good Hunting!!
Cheers
