I'm doing up some Brits for Burma and wanted to know if anyone can give me a close approximation of Jungle Green used on late war BD's Thanks for any help.

According to this site, http://www.hat.com/ColorsWWII.html you can try Model Master Pale Green, #1716.

Uniform -- Pale Green (1716)
Hat -- SAC Bomber Tan (1792)
Hatband -- Sand (1706)
Helmet, grenades, radio, Vickers MG, ammo box, straps, pouches, packs, haversacks gaiters - Faded Olive Drab (2051)
Canteen - Field Drab (1702)
Boots, bayonet scabbard -- Black
Hair, rifle and SMG stocks -- Brown, Italian dark (2111)
Metal parts of weapons -- Gunmetal (1795)
MG belt -- Brass
Hands, face -- Flesh
Base -- Green (2029)

Hi it is very hard to say which paint is correct for Jungle green , I have 8 sets of original un issued jackets and trousers . All of which are different shades of green/ grey / sandy khaki . Due to the dye used they faded very quickly to a grey green rather than a true green. Find a good colour ref photo and go with that , No judge can mark you down as they have never examined the original item . David, where did you find British figures for Burma? I'm trying to do a dio set in Burma but can't seem to locate any good figures. As far as jungle green uniforms is concerned, Osprey has a good book in it's Men at Arms series titled The British Army 1939-45 (3) The Far East. It has alot of color plates with the various uniforms worn by the British in the CBI.
