yeah, goofy name, but here is a thought I had looking at all the little extra bits and Pieces I had laying around.

Easy Eight suspension on the M4A3E2 hull. Jumbo tranny and Turret, but with a 17lb gun, sorta a super Firefly with better suspension so they could ditch the "duckbill extenders".

Any thoughts?

Do you have a Pershing Turret lying around? Might look better...

Since it was an assault tank, how about putting the 105mm howitzer as the main gun? I had contemplated using the old MP Models Easy Eight suspension with my original Jumbo and the main gun from the Verlinden M4 105mm Sherman update set (before aluminum barrels were commonplace). You could call it the Super Jumbo.

You know, I had thought about the 105mm too, but would it fit the same trunions as the 75/76mm that the jubo had? Or how about the FLAMETHROWER version!!! HE HE!

as for the pershing turret...why? The Jumbo turret looks...cooler.

No, my thoughts on the Jumbo were it was the closest thing to a "sturmtiger" or a JSU-152 that we had. I know they used the M12 for that stuff, but the M12 was a dedicated artillery piece put to use in that fashion, not a designed "assualt" vehicle. Enter the Jumbo, and again, I want to give it a more fashionable suspension, and the 105mm gun/flamethrower would be a fun idea.
