A little more work remains and a figure in the hatch will also be fixed...
Hope you like it...

Nice! Is there any interior detail to be seen through the open hatch?

Hi Thomas!
Not much really, just the low-detail back end of the gun so otherwise it's empty inside unfortunately...

Another stunning model Sven. Not overally weathered, but all the details are popped nicely, .... just perfect for this scale. Mistaking it for 1/35 scale is an easy enough mistake with a finish like this and also a testament to your great camera skills. Looking forward to seeing this as well at the Open.
Forlåt att jag har inte svarade ditt PM än (och min dåligt svenska ). Jag har varit i Gislaved i de senaste två dagar. Jag kom hem igen kl10:35 ikväll. Vi hörs.

Very nice Sven, I also thought 1/35th. I like it's painting, did you pre-shade before applying the base coat or did you lighten base color and spray around the centers.

Sven,
Overall, the model looks great, but M3 Lee's rarely had track sag. When they did, it would be much less pronounced. The reason for this is because U.S. designed vehicles had live track. The design of the links was such that wedge bolts in the end connectors forced the tracks to want to roll up. When the track pins began to bend, the link was considered "dead" anmd needed to be replaced. Take a look at your references and you will see little, if any, track sag on U.S. designed vehicles from the M3 Stuart onward. Other than that, it looks great. HTH.
Regards,
Georg

Thanks for your comments Georg...
It's good that I have a whole bunch more M3's on my desk
so I can tighten the tracks for my next build
On the Swedish IPMS page there was a lively discussion about
sagging tracks and the end result was that pictures was posted
of Shermans among others with no sag and a little sag. I built
this M3 just around the time when the discussion was really
hotting up and more or less on purpose I didn't cut off one link
to tighten it up as I perhaps should have done just to see what
the people would say.

Another stunning model Sven.
Thank You so much Frank!!!
I agree it's not too much weathered according to my standards
but I wanted it to look fairly clean so details would as you say
pop out a little more...
I hope you will like it live too
Cheers!!!

Did you pre-shade?
Thanks Joe!!!
I painted the whole thing black and then I sprayed Olive Drab as
you say in the center of open areas and by doing that I got my
pre-shade...
Glad you like it !!!
