Very nicely done! I like the mud effect you have done there! It really looks like real mud. Is it?

I did the mud with the help of fast dry squadron putty mixed in with some testors cut off brush fibers from a bunch of cheap testors brushes I bought like a 100 in a lot from Ebay . This mixture was diluted with a few drops of my wife's nail polish, which had acetone in it. I did not have pure acetone at the time so I figured she would'nt notice, which of course she did . Anyways, this whole mixture was thoroughly mixed and appliedc with another testors cheap brush, which had to be tossed afterwards. You can apply at your preference, but this way creates a very realstic effect. I applied it onto a painted model covcered with clear coat, then airbrushed using PRO Modeller military brown mixed with a little tamiya german grey. Then drybrushed with Modelmaster dark tan and with a mixture of yellow green and olive green by tamiya only in places where grass ws sticking out. Any further questions please feel free to ask.

Sorry forgot to tell you the kit. It was a Tamiya kit which I got without a box so can't tell you which one exactly. I added some gear from other kits. I just got sick of seeing this pile of parts in a bag ruining the view of my collection so I figured I would get rid of it by building it :-)

I see that noone noticed that I forgot to fill the hole at the back of the hull. Just realized it. I'll have to get to that some time later.

I always thought there was supposed to be a hole there on this model of T34. Look at 5th picture.

You are absolutely right Jeff. Thanks for pointing this out to me before I went ahead and filled it. pheww... This shows you how much I know about russian armor
P.S. by the way does anyone know why that hole is there on t-34. For better engine ventilation?

Great build - I like the stowage. The barrel makes it look very unusual

Can someone point out any flaws or improvements that can be made. I'd like my next one to be better.

I'm not sure how a thread can be moved between sections. Isn't this something that can only be done by admins. I don't want to create a duplicate thread.
