Hola folks
Just thought to let you know what I'm puddling around with at the moment...
He is a tank commander cobbled together out of a Verlinden assorted tank crew set (which I picked up on the wekend; has some good parts and some bad...) Wearing the bib overalls and currently has an Alpine tanker head. I sculpted his arms as he will be talking to walking/standing crew/doughs/GIs next to the tank, and has his turret ring rotated to accomodate this...
His hands aren't sculpted yet; his right to be on the grab handle of the split hatch, the left draped over the edge of the turret ring... And before you ask, his right arm is not meant to rest against the hatch; the pic makes it look that way!



Next to him is the first step on my reworking of the US Armored Infantryset...

Looks good so far. I'm not a big fan of verlinden but that Verlinden assorted US tank crew set is a gold mine for converters. I have the DML armored infantry set, I suspect they'll sit in the box for quite a while given my build rate, are they that bad that you're only using the boots?
