If cheap is your concern.....I would suggest doing the diorama in 1/72nd scale and getting the old Airfix landing craft.....$10 and it comes with a Sherman....and that's $10 Cdn.......for $45 US you could probably buy a few of these and do a great diorama!!!

thanks but I already painted and built the 1/35 scale troops and I need something cheap so that i'm not to mad when 1st graders break off the really nice detail parts.
