This looks great. Hard to believe the Russians were ahead of their time with this type of protection... Or maybe that we are too technical in the US to realize the old trick are sometimes the best. I am referring to the "bedspring" armor used on today's Stryker!

WOW!!! talk about inspiration! I just might break my vow to not start another build until i finish the Abrams (must...resist...)

how hard is it to paint the tracks when they are glued onto the wheels? The sides dont look that hard, but the front and back (meaning the places perpendicular to where the hull is pointing- they were covered up by shadows in all of the pictures)

Thanks mark and Kyo, i dont really have much trouble painting tracks on the vehicle its just a case of using a good coat of black primer, the right brushes with nice thinned paint and weathering takes care of the rest.

For weathering, could you tell me your brwon wash Van dyke bronw is water base or oil. You used with Temp power. And where I can get Dry Temp? Once again, thank you for sharing your super model.

Wan,i got the Dry Temp from a small local craft shop and have not seen it any where else but here is the manufacterers website and if you look under retail catalog they have it listed but basically it is cheap pigments and works pretty much in the same manner and my washes are all oil based.
