Ok I know it sounds crazy!
But I have it on relatively good authority that a photo does exist of a Churchill tank in Normandy(?) with a Panzer IV cupola fitted to the turret and a german (75mm possibly?) gun fitted instead of the British 6 pdr.
I have not seen the pic myself which is why i'm appealing to you guys as to wether anyone has seen it or something similar as it would make for a very interesting build!
The tank is in a narrow lane with a hedgerow on one side and a wall/building on the other and is possibly from the North Irish Horse? or a North Irish regiment of some kind (I'm no good with army regiments!)
Any thoughts then let me know!

Excellent work David!
I was hoping it was true! Anybody got any better pics available? I'm fast thinking that this could become a future project!

Thanks again David!
Now just to find a source for those howitzers and the project can be put on the to-do list!

I spotted a UK shop offering these conversion kits for the old Tamiya Churchill VII in the latest Military Modelling magazine, but have just forgotten exactly which shop it was....

Nice work!
I'm awaiting my subscription to come on through but i'll keep my eyes peeled for the conversion, would make life that bit easier!
Thanks again,
James
